According to the online publication, the most expensive land in Bucharest costs 670 euro per sq meter. On the other hand, in Belgrade, the Serbian capital, land can be found at prices varying from 70 to 560 euro per sq meter. However, Belgrade offers fewer possibilities than Bucharest does, due to its legislation.
Another disadvantage in Belgrade is that the plots of land are too large, from 1,000 to 7,000 sq meters while others at 10,000 to 20,000 sq meters.
The Bulgarian capital city, Sofia offers the lowest prices from 75 to 350 per sq meters. Factors such as the lack of infrastructure and the lack of foreign investments keep Sofia prices low.
