In September this year, the average net salary reached 1040 Romanian RON, a 1% increase as compared to the previous month, according to the data released by the National Statistics Institute on Monday. As compared to the similar month last year, the average net salary rose by 20.9%.

The highest value in salary growth is registered in the financial sector (3186 Romanian RON) while the lowest is found in the timber industry excluding furniture with 603 Romanian RON.
