A group of 21 Romanians working on a constructions site in the German city of Duesseldorf have protested for not receiving their salaries, Deutsche Welle reports, quoted by Realitatea TV.

Workers ask the European Workers Union to help them recover their late salaries.

According to Deutsche Welle, Romanians don't have enough money for a normal living, sleeping in a building that was supposed to be demolished and having only one WC and one shower at their disposal.

The beneficiary of the works, Saint Mary’s Hospital in Ratingen said that it would investigate the issue and offer workers a place at their canteen.
