Only 7% of Romanians in Bucharest believe that the capital city hosts good quality apartments at reasonable prices, according to a survey conducted by Eurostat. The survey also included Romanian cities of Cluj Napoca and Piatra Neamt, where 8% and respectively 22% of the citizens believe they can find good quality apartments at reasonable prices.

Other European capitals in the region register a higher percentage: in Sofia, 22% while in Budapest 26% of local people believe there are good quality households at reasonable prices.

Berlin is the European capital city where 57% of citizens consider they can find good quality houses at a good price. Berlin is closely followed by Madrid with 32%, Athens (28%) and Ankara (27%).
