The National Permanent Bureau of the main Opposition party, the Social Democratic Party (PSD), approved on Tuesday the censure motion against the Liberal government, called “A 1000 days of chaos. The end of the right wing government”, PSD vice president, Cristian Diaconescu announced.
The motion was submitted one week later than the date initially announced because the document was not finished and because of the internal divergences within the party. Several important party members, among whom former Romania president Ion Iliescu, opposed the motion.
