President Traian Basescu decided on Wednesday to form a Presidential Commission enabled to analyze the accusations concerning alleged crimes committed by former prime minister Adrian Nastase.
The decision came after the National Anti Graft Prosecution Office demanded the opening of a criminal investigation on Nastase. According to a press release of the Presidential Administration, the first session of the commission will take place on September 17.
This is the third criminal file opened on Nastase's name, concerning the way he came to own a 1.5 million euros building in downtown Bucharest.
