Two Romanian soldiers were wounded on Tuesday in Iraq, near Baghdad, around the local hour 15:45. Both military are recovering well: one was wounded in the leg, and was already subject to surgery, the other was injured in the shoulder blade area, but didn't require special medical interventions.

According to a Defense Ministry release, lieutenant-colonel Dorin Petrut and major Iulian Daniliuc, part of the NATO forces, were injured in a rocket attack against the Camp Victory base near Baghdad.
