Officials of the Bucharest Stock Exchange (BVB) publicly declared that the Rompetrol Group shares (Symb: RRC, PTR and VEGA) were suspended from transactions on Monday, at 13:22h, exclusively de to the information published in the media.
"We didn't receive any official announcement during the session on Monday", officials say, also referring to the PR Newswire service, supposedly employed by Dinu Patriciu, seller of 75% of the Rompetrol Group.
Rompetrol officials refuse to offer any further details, considering that all questions were answered in the press release on Tuesday night. Meanwhile, PR Newswire representative for Europe, declared for Hotnews.ro that the agency received the release for publishing on Monday morning, but not from KazMunaiGaz or Rompetrol, but from a third party, who's name remains undisclosed.
