Heavy rains hit more than 35 counties in Romania leaving two persons dead, thousand of flooded households and destroyed agricultural terrains on Sunday night.

The storms also affected the Romanian seaside resorts as swimming is forbidden in the Black Sea due to the high waves and violent wind after a man died yesterday.

In Suceava, a Northern county, a 22 year old youngster died after his car fell into a river. Another man died in Targu Jiu hit by a thunder as local televisions announce.

More than 100 liters/square meters fell in Brasov and Gorj counties leaving hundreds of households destroyed.

Meteorologists dropped the yellow and orange bad weather code introduced this weekend even if they forecast storms and rain will continue in the coming days.

In Bucharest, there are slight chances of rain and temperatures will reach 28-29 degrees Celsius on Monday.
