Several stocks in the Romanian Bank for Development (BRD) - Groupe Societe Generale, accounting for 0.14% of the company capital, were transferred on the Deal market of the Bucharest Stock Exchange in two special transactions for 25.9 million RON (some 7.9 million euro) on Tuesday. The 952,000 titles were transferred for a price of 27.20 RON per share.

On August 16, a stake of 0.035% of BRD shares had been transferred on the Deal market for 6.8 million RON (some 2.1 million euro).

The BRD-Groupe Societe Generale titles are listed in the first category of the Bucharest Stock Exchange.

The company has a capital of 696.9 million RON divided in 696.9 million shares at a nominal value of 1 RON. The main shareholder is French group Societe Generale (58.32%). BRD is the second-biggest bank in Romania.
