The first traffic passage near Baneasa Airport is inaugurated on Thursday, two weeks earlier than the initial deadline. The deadline was postponed a few weeks, some problems rising on issues such as the expropriation of terrains in the area.

The passage measures 600 meters and was contracted by the Portuguese company Lena.

The construction is part of the project to assure the fluidity of the traffic on the main national road, DN1. More passages will be built in the next years.
