The weather specialists' warnings for the week-end were confirmed. During Friday night, a heavy high-flood hit the village of Moeciu de Sus in the Brasov county. Over one hundred houses were flooded and tens of tourists are captive in the Valea Popii area, a Hotnews.ro reporter informs.
According to the Realitatea TV station, national road DN7 was blocked between the 10th and the 45th kilometer because of the floods coming from the surrounding slopes. Heavy rains turned traffic into a nightmare on several roads, including the Transfagarasan, the road crossing the Fagaras mountain, connecting the South with Transylvania.
