The series of violent game endings continues in the Romanian football. While the Steaua Bucharest club introduced its team for the following year, in a friendly game against Charleroi, one of the Steaua supporters managed to cross the field and attack the Belgian Charleroi goalkeeper.

Both the gendarmes and the bodyguards’ team failed to detain the aggressor, but arrested two other supporters who seemed to offer him a helpful hand.

The game was stopped for at least five minutes, a Hotnews.ro reporter informs. In the end, the Bronec company’s bodyguards managed to detain the violent supporter while he attempted to jump over a fence.

Romanian legendary football player Gheorghe Hagi was also present, as he pulled his first job as Steaua coach.

Most of the Steaua supporters attending the game shouted and sang slogans against the main financing hand of the club, Gigi Becali, also leader of the nationalist political party “The New Generation”.
