Romanian Foreign Minister Adrian Cioroianu will make an official visit in the United States between June 12 and 14.

The official has scheduled appointments with the US State Secretary Condoleezza Rice, the presidential counselor for National Security, Stephen Hadley, the deputy Defense Secretary Gordon England and other US administration influent members, as well as representatives of the Romanian - American community, media and academic figures.

Adrian Cioroianu will also participate in a round table organized by the School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS), the University of John Hopkins, where he will hold a speech called „Towards a Renewed Transatlantic Partnership for Global Security”.

The possibility to include Romania in the Visa Waiver program is also on the delegation to-do list, as well as the coordination for the NATO summit in 2008, the global anti-terrorist collaboration and the military and regional security cooperation.
