Romanian experts in European policies, part of the "Team Europe" group, gathered on Thursday in Cluj to debate on several aspects of the regional policies and on the steps Romania made to absorb European structural funds.
The general manager of the European Commission, Anasstasios Bougas, considers that Romania had excellent results since its accession to the European Union.
"I do not wish to compare Romania with Bulgaria, but I assure you that Romania has some excellent results", said Bougas.
In addition, Donato Chiarini, head of the EC representatives in Romania, assured the audience that all the countries in the region have their ups and downs in politics, but it must be seen as a transition issue that will not affect the relations between the states and the European Union.
