Italian airliner Alitalia has announced the annulment of 394 flights planned between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. on Tuesday because of a strike by traffic controllers. It is yet another protest of a series that led to an “economic disaster in the company”, as Alitalia production manager Giancarlo Schisano said, quoted by Corriere della Sera.

Romanian passengers are among those affected by the strike as two flights from Bucharest to Milan and one from Bucharest to Rome as well as two from Milan to Bucharest and one from Rome to Bucharest were cancelled.
