Ludovic Orban, Liberal vice president and head of the Bucharest branch of the party, declared on Sunday that the Bucharest branch will suggest all Liberals to leave the Government and prepare to spend the rest of their mandates in Opposition.
Orban will make demand the Party Central Office to convoke a Permanent Delegation session to decide the future of the party.

"We appeal to all Liberal members to continue their activity in favor of citizens and to maintain the unity of the party. Still, respecting the electoral choices and taking into account the parliamentarian conjecture, we can't make any compromises", said Orban.

Organ's statements on Sunday come in contradiction with the position assumed by Prime Minister Calin Popescu Tariceanu, who pledged in favor of collaborating with Traian Basescu.
