A poll conducted by INSOMAR and MetroMedia Transilvania for Realitatea TV indicates that Democrats would be by far the winners in case elections took place this weekend.
The percentage of respondents who would vote for Democrats reached an incredible level of 51.9%, with the Social-Democrats dropping to 17% and Liberals to 8.3%.
Were these results for real, only four political parties would share the Parliament - Democrats, Liberals, Social Democrats and The New Generation Party (PNG). The Hungarian Democratic Union (UDMR) and far right Great Romania would be battling for a couple more votes in order to be represented.
