The German group Handelsblatt will enter the Romanian market with a partnership with the local Realitatea-Catavencu media group, according to Romanian media analyst Iulian Comanescu’s blog at Comanescu.HotNews.ro.
He says a first phase of the collaboration is a partnership with the Business Standard business newspaper that Realitatea-Catavencu will launch this Friday.
Handelsblatt’s activities will be related to training and marketing operations, the blogger says.
And he notes that the German group is considerably above in terms of business power than other Western groups active on the Romanian media market, such as Edipresse or Ringier.
