The Romanian Peasant's Museum and the Slow Food Foundation organize until May 13 a special event, designed to remind the people of Bucharest that industrial fast food and traditional slow food differ in everything.

In order to remind you how life was before soda and hot wings, the two institutions invite everyone to "a gastronomic symphony of flavors and shapes in order to taste some of the best Romanian natural foods."

Menu: SlowFish - cobza de pastrav (trout smoked in pine leaves) from Bucovina

SlowBurger - hams & pastramis from Bucovina and smoked meats from Moeciu

SlowDog - caltabos (black-pudding) from Cimpulung Moldovenesc and sausages from Mangalica

SlowCheese - goat cheese from Crit and sacked cheese (branza de burduf) in pine crust from Istrate. By request, it can be made with Italian parmiggiano
