“Pane et circum”, “bread and circus”, the ancient Romans said, almost foreseeing the evolution of the Romanian political stage. The future office of the Bucharest Electoral Bureau (BEM) will be hosted by the State Circus.

The Bucharest governor explained that this is the only solution found by the City Hall, given the fact that the center must gather the votes of 1,200 voting stations.

BEM is formed by seven members: a president and six members representing the major political parties.
