Four Romanian troops were wounded while on a mission in the Dha Oar region in Iraq on Saturday. All four - one of whom was transferred to a hospital in Germany - were safe on Sunday, according to news reports. They belonged to a group of six Romanian troops aboard combined armored vehicle that left the road and turned upside down while on a mission some 25 km North-West of Tallil.

A commission has been established to identify whether the accident was caused by a technical glitch or by a driving error.

The four belonged to the 495 Infantry Battalion, according to a Romanian Defense Ministry press release. Two of them were hospitalized in Baghdad and are expected to return to their base this week.
