13 heads of various National Agencies put in place after the 2004 elections by the Democrat Party were released from their positions on Thursday, by a decree signed by PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu.

The Consumer Protection Agency, the National Environment Protection Agency, the National Tourism Agency, the National Youth Agency and the National Animal Health Agency are some of the institutions where general managers politically named are to be replaced.
