The main opposition group in the Romanian Parliament, the Social Democratic Party (PSD), is to table a simple motion against Education minister Mihail Hardau on Wednesday, accusing him of taking over his ministerial position "accidentally" and only to become "the grave digger of Romanian education".

The bill claims Hardau’s promises led to zero results so far, which led to the most serious strikes among education workers, to frauds at national exams and to a disastrous sanitation state at the beginning of the current academic year.

Two other opposition parties, the Conservatives and the Greater Romania Party, are supporting the motion.
