A simple motion, called "The lie - A Macovei Justice Truth", was submitted on Thursday morning at the Senate's Permanent Bureau. The document is signed by 64 Opposition parliamentarians and would be discussed on Tuesday.
The motion demands the resignation of the Justice Minister, Monica Macovei, because "she failed to sketch even one fundamental idea about the Justice system reform".
During the preliminary discussion for Romania's accession to the EU, Macovei was one of the very few widely appreciated Romanian ministers, the Justice reforms pleasing most officials in Brussels.
