A delegation of the European Commission will investigate next week the way Romanian authorities took action for the bird flu epidemic control. The National Veterinarian Authority announced that EC officials will visit both institutions and farms.
"There are to targets: to update the information on the way the bird flu epidemic and the Newcastle disease evolved and to evaluate the measures taken by authorities to control the problem", said the local officials.
The visit of the FVO specialists (Food and Veterinary Office) will take place between February 5th and 9th.
