Bulgaria will conclude works at the second bridge linking it to Romania over the Danube river by 2010, Bulgarian Transport minister Petar Mutafchiev has announced, quoted by the media in Sofia. Authorities have to sign two more contracts for the supervision, construction and development of the project, he said.

The contracts were expected to be signed on January 30, the official date for the launch of the project.

The bridge is part of a larger strategy to improve the Bulgarian transport infrastructure by 2015.
