The prosecutors in the Anti Corruption Territorial Service Brasov begun the criminal pursuit against Sorin Crivat, public servant, chief of the security service at the State Industry Assets Privatization (OPSPI), charged with influence trafficking.

Crivat is accused of illegally receiving over 30,000 euros, promising to facilitate meetings and contacts in the oil business area.

According to the anti corruption prosecutors let investors believe that he might influence public servants in the public finance area, in order for his “clients” to obtain final user authorizations, so that they wouldn’t pay excises for mineral oils.
