17 workers returning from Germany to celebrate the holidays in Romania had a car crash in Austria on Thursday morning, around 4:00 AM. The bus, transporting 46 people, hit a freight truck 30 kilometers far from the Hungarian border.

Most of the injured were already released from hospital. The bus, belonging to the Eurolines transport company, was coming from Munich and headed for Bacau.

Eurolines officials say the incident was caused by the bad weather, mainly because of the thin ice layer on the road.
