The European Commission’s monitoring report on Romania due to be released on Sept, 26 will drop the red and yellow flags for agriculture and payments, according to the statement of the European integration ministry Anca Boagiu following a meeting with the director of the DG Enlargement Michael Leigh.

The problematic aspects have not yet been completely resolved but the red and yellow flags will be replaced with the “key outstanding issues” and “over outstanding issues”.

Romania’s European integration minister and the Agriculture minister presented the country’s last progress for the accession to the EU, in Brussels on Wednesday.

Regarding Agriculture, the European officials showed concern with the swine plague, which must be eradicated within the following 9 months, and with the milk production where only 30% is according to European standards.
