The Social Democratic opposition party‘s leader Mircea Geoana took advantage of the scandal sparked by the disappearance of the Arab businessman Omar Hayssam and asked the Justice minister’s resignation holding her responsible for the negligence of the authorities.
Geoana also asked the Romanian president to assume the failure of the Hayssam case.
PSD and the Greater Romania Party have allied to request a special session of the Parliament in order to analyze the collective resignations prompted in the last two days in the Hayssam case.
