Romania’s investments in Lebanon’s reconstruction are on hold due to the violence in the Middle East, Dan Constantin economic analyst has stated for Hotnews.ro. Constantin reminded that Romania is among the few communist countries that had profitable business in the conflict zone, both with Israel and the Arab countries.

The analyst considers that the Economy minister Codrut Seres’ visit to Lebanon will not give a spectacular boost to the economic relations between the two countries, however, it might revitalize the Romanian army industry.

Despite the situation in the middle east, the Lebanese investments might increase in Romania, as “run away from conflict”, says Constantin.
