The three member - British rock band Placebo will perform in Bucharest on August 13 at the Arenele Romane, part of the tour promotion of their latest album “The Meds”, according to the band's official site. The band opening the concert is still to be announced.
The new album is considered the band’s best in five years, after a bad period for its musical career. The launch of “The Meds” officially took place on March 13, but the album was unfortunately launched illegally on the internet in early January.
The last hit “Because I Want You” placed 4 in Australia and 7 in UK.
Romania has become an attractive concerts destination in the light of the performance of Depeche Mode in Bucharest in mid June.
