The former social democratic PM Adrian Nastase is now under the charges of having received undeserved goods in the electoral presidential campaign, according to close sources of the National Anti-Corruption Department (DNA). The former PM Adrian Nastase received electoral promotional materials of more than 26 bln lei from two companies.

The sources confirmed for Hotnews that the companies in the case are Eurografica - Bucharest and Verton from Bacau (Romania) which belongs to Dumitru Sechelariu, the former PSD mayor of the city.

According to the law, the persons having party ranks or holding a top position and are employing influence to obtain various gains, are likely to go behind bars from 1-5 years.
