Electrica Oltenia, the Romanian electricity company owned by Czech group CEZ, reported a business figure of 1.29 billion RON and a net profit of 69.4 million RON in 2005 and eyes a net profit of over 95.4 million RON (27.2 million euro) this year, the company management has announced.

Close to 90% of the exploitation incomes reported by the company result from the sale of electricity, 9.17% from system and other services and 3.64% from other sales.

The positive results last year were supported by higher exploitation incomes and less exploitation costs, according to a company press release.
