The PM Calin Popescu Tariceanu decided that seven commissions would be created in order to deal with the Union Confederations’ requests on different aspects invoked by the unions.

The commission to work on salary politics will analyse the minimum wage, the salary of public servants, de-blocking the jobs in public administration, etc.

The other commissions are to analyze the legal framework of industrial relations, social politics, employment politics, and problems concerning free and compensated medicines.

The commissions comprise ministers, secretaries of state, national authorities’ managers. The Government and the representatives of the Unions decided to start talks for the creation of a social pact and the establishment of joint working groups to solve the unions’ requests.
