Alcatel Romania will coordinate the Alcatel branches in ten South-Eastern European countries starting this month: Bulgaria, Greece, Cyprus, Albania, Macedonia, Serbia and Montenegro, Bosnia and Hertegovina, Croatia and Slovenia.

The new Regional Coordination Center for SEE regroups over 1500 telecom and IT specialists and addresses a market of about 70 million people. The management of the center will fall on the shoulders of Dan Bedros, current head of Alcatel Romania.

He predicts that in the coming ten years the region will have one of the fastest paces of growth and the most spectacular technologic progress in Europe.
