At Calafat, in the county of Dolj, approximately 100 persons are to be evacuated, following a breach in the dam that separates the Danube and an urban utility channel. Twenty households have been flooded. Authorities ensure that the situation is under control.

In Constanta, the waters are beyond the critical level in three out of 12 townships along the riverbank. Tens of ha of agricultural land and forest are under waters. Authorities are prepared to evacuate the population if the case.
