The leaders of the two parties of the governing D.A. Alliance, the Liberals (PNL) and the Democrats (PD), held a special reunion on Monday evening and decided to drop any reciprocal attacks, and reconcile for the voters that had given them credit until 2008. Additionally, the members that keep criticizing their alliance fellows will be sanctioned.

An Arbitration Commission has been established to analyze conflicts between the two parties and to mediate the local conflicts of the PNL and PD subsidiaries across the country, according to top PD figure Adriean Videanu.

The protocol based on which the Alliance has been established would function until its expiring date, 2008, and even beyond, said Videanu.
