The Romanian Authority for State Assets Recovery announced it would drop the monitoring of 68 privatization contracts sealed off within 1994-2004, following the fulfillment of all obligations on behalf of the buyers. Still, there are 7,600 contracts on the supervision list of the Authority.
The post-privatization monitoring stops when an analyses shows that all obligations have been fulfilled. Among the companies relieved of further monitoring there are the hotels Imparatul Romanilor Sibiu, Montana Campulung, Ovidius Constanta, Tismana Jupiter, Capitol Jupiter.
