Romanian Competition Council is analyzing the framework of the transaction by which IT company Flamingo International plans to buy national home appliances retailer Flanco. Council officials believe Flamingo should have notified the main anti-fraud body in Romania about the transaction as it falls in the category of economic consolidation.

The Council is especially interested in obtaining points of view from third parties concerning how this transaction would affect their own activities.

Flamingo International, a Romanian retailer of IT products and electronics, is known for raising interest to expand on other SE European markets over the last several years.
