Bucharest's second airport Baneasa will be closed during the NATO Summit in Bucharest on April 2-4, 2008 as it will be exclusively used by delegations invited to the reunion. Meanwhile, all flights will be arriving on Henri Coanda International Airport, the Romanian public radio informed.

Initially, the Transports Ministry announced that both airports should be closed but this measure was rejected by Transports Minister Ludovic Orban.

Bucharest will host some 6,500 foreigners among which, 3,500 are journalists at the NATO Summit this spring.
