The estimated value of the subway railroad between Bucharest and the Otopeni airport is some 244 million euro, said Transport minister Ludovic Orban on Friday, according to Mediafax. “In a month, at the most, the feasibility study will be ready, so that the Government may approve the technical and economic indicators of the project", said Orban.
The railroad will be 19 kilometers long, out of which 12 have the line already set. The new 7 kilometers will need the construction of a new line. A 1 kilometer long tunnel will be built. The duration of the construction is estimated at two and a half years after the contract is signed.
