Key avenues including the Kisselef Av. linking the airports and the northern gate of the city with downtown Bucharest, the downtown Victoriei Av. and the Natiunile Unite Boulevard would be closed for civilian traffic during the NATO Summit in early April. Streets surrounding the Parliament Palace where the summit will take place will also be closed, including Izvor Street, 13 Septembrie Avenue (partly), Libertatii Boulevard and much of the Unirii Boulevard.

The main road link between the Henri Coanda Airport and the Free Press House will also be partly closed.

Traffic will also be restricted towards the Cotroceni Presidential Palace and surrounding streets.
