Mobile telephony affected in Bucharest as president Bush arrives

Dozens of HotNews.ro readers complain about the poor functioning of the mobile telephony services at the same moment US president George W. Bush arrived in Romania. In dozens offices in Bucharest, the Internet connections failed. Mobile telephony providers previously warned their clients that difficulties may appear during the NATO summit.

Orange
informed that the voice and data services are affected because the optic fiber backbone was cut in two cities. The problems returned back to normal around 18:50
