Liberals Democrats (PDL) have officialy endorsed the candidacy of Vasile Blaga for the seat of Bucharest Mayor in the local elections due to take place next month. His candidacy was announced at 12 pm on Tuesday, in an official ceremony organized in a District 3 park.
Blaga announced that he would like to transfer the good deeds of Liberal Democrat District 3 Mayor Liviu Negoita to Bucharest as a whole. Blaga added that he will push for better traffic lanes and more green spaces for Bucharest.
District 3 is seen as the part of Bucharest with the best infrastructure and environment improvement over the past several years.
