After a week of delays, Bucharest's newly elected mayor Sorin Oprescu delegated responsibilities to the two deputy mayors, Razvan Murgeanu and Robert Ionescu. Therefore, Murgeanu will be responsible of Bucharest's public utilities while Ionescu will be responsible for culture and the Zoo. Thus, Oprescu managed to keep under his coordination the departments where investments and money are at stake.

More specifically, Oprescu will be the one in charge of the Judicial Department, of the Urbanism, Investments and Patrimony and for the Commission dealing with nationalized buildings, parks administration and Bucharest public transportation.

Sources within the City Hall declared for HotNews.ro that it is difficult for one person to coordinate all these departments even if this person is Oprescu, mainly because of their importance.
