Some 20,000 union members of the biggest four union confederations in the country are expected to march today in the Constitutiei Square in Bucharest. Starting 11 am, union members will gather in the square and march around the Parliament.
Their main demands are salary increases, improvement of work conditions and guaranteed working places. The protest is organized on the Decent Work International Day. Due to the protest, traffic in Bucharest will be affected.
Starting 10 am until 4:30 pm, traffic will be blocked in the Constitutiei Square and on the streets around the Parliament.
