Small Romanian traditional craftsmen from all the regions exposed their works at the Open Days - Day of the Regions, an event organized to complement a European level series of manifestations in Brussels. Those interviewed by HotNews.ro confessed they left any other jobs to dedicate to the traditional crafts that sell pretty good both nationally and internationally.

Various crafts and traditional costumes from all regions were the main attraction of the people in Bucharest. The event was organized by the Development ministry together with the Romanian Peasants' Museum.

Even if the majority of craftsmen export their products abroad, they are not that interested in taking up European funds, mainly because the revenue they currently receive is quite enough for them.
