A new railway linking Bucharest's central train station to Otopeni, the international airport will be open within days and a ticket on the route will cost 6 Romanian Ron, Romania's Transports minister Radu Berceanu declared on Tuesday, quoted by Mediafax. The train will cover the distance in 40 to 45 minutes and even if it is not a great solution, it can cater for the immediate needs of the people, Berceanu added.

He declared that travelers will be able to purchase their train tickets in the airport to any destination in the country. Moreover, citizens across Romania wishing to get to Otopeni will be able to do so without any difficulty.

The price of the ticket includes a train ticket to Otopeni, the city and a free shuttle from Otopeni the city to the airport.
